Question:

Find the exact value of the expression. (see pic)

Answer:

sin[cos⁻¹(5/6) - tan⁻¹(1/2)]

cos⁻¹(5/6) = 33.5573097619207°

tan⁻¹(1/2) = 26.565051177078°

--------------------------------------

sin[cos⁻¹(5/6) - tan⁻¹(1/2)]

= sin(33.5573097619207°- 26.565051177078°)

= sin(6.9922585848427°)

= 0.1217352362231

>>> the final answer is:

sin[cos⁻¹(5/6) - tan⁻¹(1/2)] = 0.1217352362231

Thanks for writing.
