If the fraction 1/3 means 1 is divided by 3, how do you convert the fraction 1/3 to its decimal equivalent?

how do you work out 1/3 to a decimal


The answer:

Convert 1/3 to a decimal

1/3 means 1 is divided by 3

1/3 = 1 ÷ 3

= 0.3333…

The final answer is: 0.3333…
