The question:

Determine the domain of the following functions:

a) l(x)=1+log_base4_(x+6)

b) e(x) 6^x-1

c) l(x)=7log(x+1/x-8)


The answer:

a)l(x)=1+log_base4_(x+6)

The vertical asymptote is: x = -6
(log_base4_(-6+6) = log_base4_(0), which is undefined/impossible)


Domain: x > -6
