The question:

if f(x)=x^3-2x^2, then f(i) is equivalent to..?

The answer:

f(x) = x³ - 2x²

just substitute “i” everywhere that x appears in the function

f(i) = i³ - 2i²

some other examples

f(g) = g³ - 2g²

f(100) = 100³ - 2*100²

f(π) = π³ - 2*π²

Thanks for writing.
