The question:

prove associative property of integers on number line

The answer:

It is certainly worthwhile to visually demonstrate the associative property of integers on a number line.

However, I’m not sure this will constitute a “proof” of the associative property of integers.

The usual “proof” for the associative law begins with Peano’s axioms and is built upon inductive reasoning.

That said, we can demonstrate how the associate property of integers works with a number line.

(a + b) + c = a + (b + c)
