Dec 03, 2012 Classify Angles by: Staff Answer Part I How angles are named The intersection of two line segments forms an angle. The point where the two line segments intersect is the vertex of the angle. The amount of rotation between the line segments is the angle, θ. The angle name corresponds to the amount of rotation between the line segments. Acute Angle Any angle between 0° and 90° is an acute angle. (An acute angle is never equal to 0°, and it is never equal to 90°. An acute angle is always an angle which is less than 90° and greater than 0°.) Right Angle Every angle which is exactly 90° is a right angle. (A right angle is always equal to 90°. 89.999° is not a right angle. 90.001° is not a right angle.) -----------------------------------------------------

Dec 03, 2012 Classify Angles by: Staff ----------------------------------------------------- Part II Obtuse Angle Any angle between 90° and 180° is an obtuse angle. (An obtuse angle is never equal to 90°, and it is never equal to 180°. An obtuse angle is always an angle which is less than 180° and greater than 90°.) Straight Angle Every angle which is exactly 180° is a straight angle. (A straight angle is always equal to 180°. 179.999° is not a straight angle. 180.001° is not a straight angle.) -----------------------------------------------------

Dec 03, 2012 Classify Angles by: Staff ----------------------------------------------------- Part III Reflex Angle Any angle between 180° and 360° is a reflex angle. (A reflex angle is never equal to 180°, and it is never equal to 360°. A reflex angle is always an angle which is greater than 180° and less than 360°.) Full Angle A full angle is 360°.
