The question:

How do I use symbols to make this equation 2x2+3^2-4+3x5 equal to 14

The answer:

2x2+3^2-4+3x5 equal to 14

2*2+3^2-4+3*5 = 14

Add parentheses

2*2 + (3^2 – (4+3))*5 = 14

Note: 2*2 = 4, 3^2 = 9, 4 + 3 = 7

4 + (9 – 7)*5 = 14

4 + 2*5 = 14

4 + 10 = 14

14 = 14

Thanks for writing.
