evaluate x^2 - x + 41 for x = 0 and for two even and two odd values of x.

The answer:

evaluate x^2 - x + 41 for x = 0 and for two even and two odd values of x.

f(x) = x² - x + 41

a. if x = 0

f(0) = 0² - 0 + 41

f(0) = 41

b. two even values of x

if x = 2

f(2) = 2² - 2 + 41

f(2) = 4 - 2 + 41

f(2) = 2 + 41

f(2) = 43

if x = 6

f(6) = 6² - 6 + 41

f(6) = 36 - 6 + 41

f(6) = 30 + 41

f(6) = 71

c. two odd values of x

if x = 3

f(3) = 3² - 3 + 41

f(3) = 9 - 3 + 41

f(3) = 6 + 41

f(3) = 47

if x = 5

f(5) = 5² - 5 + 41

f(5) = 25 - 5 + 41

f(5) = 20 + 41

f(5) = 61
