Since there is no information about the amount of money Jam has, I have used the variable “Jam” to represent that amount.


Tony has P345 in her wallet.

Tony = P345


Mhar has P65 more than Jam.

Mhar = Jam + P65


Total = Tony + Mhar

Total = P345 + (Jam + P65)

Total = (P345 + P65) + (Jam)

Total = (P410) + (Jam)

Total = P410 + Jam
