Solve for the dividend

The division theorem:

for any two integers a and b (b ≠ 0)

when a is divided by b (a ÷ b), the following relationship exists:

a = qb + r

a is called the dividend

b is called the divisor

q is called the quotient

r is called the remainder

and

0 ≤ r < |b|

Answer

a = x (an unknown integer)

b = 16

q = 8

r = 7

a = qb + r

x = qb + r

x = 8 * 16 + 7

x = 135

Division Theorem - calculation of dividend

the final answer is:

x = 135
