Modeling an Algebraic Expression
by: Staff

The question:

How do you model an algebraic expression such as 12-K?

The answer:

This is an algebraic model:

f(k) = 12 - K

For every value of K (the independent variable), you can compute a value of f(x).

For example, if K=1

f(k) = 12 - 1 = 11

If K=5

f(k) = 12 - 5 = 7

and so on

Thanks for writing.
