The answer:

-2-(-6+(-6x2-2)÷(-4)



To evaluate this expression, use the PEMDAS order of operations.

PEMDAS order tells you what to do first, second, . . . etc.

PEMDAS stands for: parentheses, exponents, multiplication, division, addition, subtraction


Step 1: evaluate PARENTHESES

You expression is missing one right parenthesis.

Count the number of right parentheses, and then count the number of left parentheses. The number of right parentheses MUST equal the number of left parentheses.

The expression contains 3 left parentheses, but only 2 right parentheses. Therefore, another right parenthesis must be added (or a left parenthesis removed).

I think this is what you actually intended to write (This is only a guess of where another right parenthesis should be, of course. It may not be correct.):

-2-(-6+(-6x2-2))÷(-4)

If several parentheses are NESTED, evaluate the INNERMOST parentheses first.
