The volume of a rectangle slab of concrete needs to exceed 72 cu ft. If the length is 12 ft and the width is 8 ft> How do I come up with how thick the slab needs to be? I know that in order to find the answer I need the formula V=l*w*h. So I put in 72cu ft = 12ft*8ft*h. Is this the correct way to solve for this problem?
